Hello Dearest Renato ~ it looks as though we are all to exhausted to read after our US election in the States here !! LOL!!! I suppose we will be celebrating very happily during the holiday season or crying our way through until the official inauguration! HA ! Any how , I gather we are not going to leap into Mr. Pynchon's book until January! Meanwhile , I will be waiting for the excitement to begin ! My vote will be a bit later than Jan. 2 ! On New Years Eve my Family eats , drinks and gets Merry ! We play games and drink when the ball drops at midnight. On the 1st of January we all cook everyone's favorite Good Luck foods . Corned Beef and Cabbage , black-eyed peas and Southern Cornbread , many other favorites and deserts along with a bit of drink and football and napping !!! Then it is OVER until next year !
Please send me a note and tell me your fun on New Years ! Please do not think we are heatherns ! Church is attended in the South for singing , children's plays and more cantadas and as always our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service which is so lovely ! It seems we are at home or in church around here. We do have a Christmas Parade and it is always cold and rainy ! HA! We have a live Nativity scene for one week at our church . Live animals too ! Don't forget , Jesus is the reason for the season !
