I could use a much slower inbox too. An ideal frequency for me is once every 6 months, and it could be a longer email, preferably with bigger text/pictures so it's quicker to process visually.
I'm always looking for good book ideas. I like to read about whats new, or reminded about good books i might have missed.
I always find things to order for our library that were somehow missed in other sources. Twice a month is workable for me.
Last year I would have said maybe every other month. But I retired a year ago, and it's a whole new world. So many books, so little time .... And I'm afraid I want to know about ALL of them!
Never - I don't want any emails from this site. I rarely check emails so try to keep it as uncluttered as possible.
Once a month only please! My inbox is way to busy with other stuff. If I am actively looking for a new book to read, I automatically go to Goodreads to see what is new/trending/being talked about, etc. I don't need an email every week telling me what is hot. Thank you!
Once a month would be great. My bookshelves and Kindle are already as crowded as my inbox. I don't need more temptation!
Please allow each user to set his preferred frequency in his account settings page.Said page could have these options:
- As soon as a new item is available
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Once every 2 months
- Once every 6 months
- Never
Once a month at the end of the month with all the new/bestseller books please. I hate being emailed thirty times a month.
Not seeing the value of Goodreads yet, in that Amazon already knows what I've read and suggests books to me every time I check. I certainly wish I could tell its recommender a top price limit though, as I have to manually click "Not Interested" for all that are too pricey, even though I might give them a try at a more reasonable cost.
twice a week. And to all of those who said never, just get of the list. I think you can do it in your settings.
I personally would like once a week but why not instead have it where each member can choose the frequency of the emails, whether once a month or once year?
