Seeing that this is a group for the Study Series, I realized that it's rather biased to post this question. But I think most people rated the two series almost equally, so I'm just curious.

I just can't choose! Ahhh! They're both so good.

Since I've read the entire Study series, but have so far only read Twilight, I had to vote for the former. I also like Yelena much more than I did Bella---but again, this is only going by the first book.

I've never actually read the Twilight series. From all I've heard, I'd find the characters in Twilight most annoying.

I've read two of the Study books and two and a half of the Twilight Series. The Twilight series is OBVIOUSLY young adult, but I gotta say it is growing on me. However I LOVED Study right from the start. So it's Study all the way! Plus the fact that while I've been to one's hometown, I know the other so I'm a bit biased there as well, I'm sure. If you've never been to a poison tasting... you are missing out!

This is really tough, since I like them both a lot.

I think they are both great series but I have to go with the Study Series because each book in the series was consistently good. I found it hard to get through some of the middle books in the Twilight series.

I prefer Yelena to Bella and I even prefer Valek to Edward. The last Twilight book really killed the series for me.

I have not read the twilight series and I am currently reading poison study and I would have to vote for the Dragonlance series.

I really enjoyed the study series because it was unique and different from other books I've read recently. I hope nobody hates me, but I like the Twilight series better because I connected more with the characters. I still love Yelena and Valek.

I've read both series. And I agree with Stephanie. The last book of the Twilight series really set my teeth on edge. Whereas the Study series kept me hooked up to and past the last words.

I had a hard time voting because if not for my Twilight addiction, I would never have found Poison Study! Well, maybe not never, but the obsession and the need for a relief from waiting for Book 4 brought me to it. Also I appreciated Study more after having read Twilight, where Bella is reacts a very opposite way to damage than Yelena does. While I found Bella's blank pages touching in New Moon , Yelena would have bit down, got back to work, and pushed away the sorry-for-myself feelings. I guess what I'm saying is, Yelena all the way!

As characters, I think I feel more strongly about Yelena and Valek, Ari, Janco, etc. from the Study series, but the storyline of Twilight kept me more interested.
I'm stupidly addicted to both series, of course, but as a story, Twilight had me hooked a little more, but in terms of characters, I definitely have to go with Study.

wow, what a hard decision!! what came down to my choice of the Twilight series is the fact that both series are wonderful, but i read the twilight series a zillion more times than the study series. im addicted to the twilight series and intrugied with the study series. by i guess my decsion was based on how very realistic and easy to believe the twilight series is.

I've only read the first two books in Twilight. I loved them. But I relate better to Yelena. Bella seems very melodramatic to me. Personally, I can't react that way. I tend to waaaaay over think things and it gets in the way of my being emotional. If I was going to be stranded on a dessert island and could only take one of these two series with me I would pick the Study series...Although there are more books in the Twilight series, I might stay entertained longer...Hmmm...No I love the study series.

Its not a fair question since I have very harsh feelings for the Twilight series after the way Meyer had basically destroyed her world mythology. Don't get me wrong, enjoyable, but the sheer level of my need to smack Bella raised my blood pressure badly.

The Study series however, except for a few moments of wanting to slap Yelena for not seeing the obvious and mistreating her associates, overall dealt much better with the shifting dynamic of the world's rules. Some things were absolutes, but the things that did change (the Commander's attitude shift towards magic, the Council's ruminations on Yelena...) at least had groundwork that upon re-reading marks it clearly.

I don't know, Lexie! I thought Meyer kept to her world mythology all too well and that's what pissed people off...

I've read two of the study books, poison and magic. Have not finish the three yet. Haven't had the chance to read the twilight series. Curious to read though. Heard so much about it from people online and a couple at my college. Can't wait to try it out.

Actually for me there is no comparison. These two just seem on two totally different levels. Poison Study especially is one book that I find myself reading again every now and then. I love when you find one of "those" books.

I could do without as far as Twilight is concerned. It's great if you like it, but I just read the first and had no desire to read on. However I thought Meyer's The Host was a lot better than Twilight and a very interesting premise.

Ah. This was very difficult for me. I ended up picking the study series, not because of this group, but because of the series in its entirety. I loved all three books of the study series. I absolutely love the first book, Twilight, probably more than Poison study. However, I absolutely hated the ending for the Twilight series. And the other two books in between could have been good if they had a nice ending, which they didn't. Yelena is a lot cooler than Bella by far. However, I love Edward Cullen much more than Valek.

I liked the Study series better because Bella kind of annoyed me and I loved Yelena, Valek, Ari, and Janco but I did like Twilight too.
