Heather Just so you all know "Stardust" is a terrible read. The movie is much more exciting then the book.

message 2: by Emily (new)

Emily Bell I'm not positive, but I'm fairly sure that The Girl With All the Gifts doesn't come out until late April.

message 3: by Kristie (last edited Feb 07, 2015 05:14PM) (new)

Kristie It came out last year, Emily, at least in the US. I'm not sure where you're located.

message 4: by Melissa (new)

Melissa It's out in Canada too. At least in hardcover. It's probably not out in softcover until April.

message 5: by Kristie (new)

Kristie That's a possibility, Melissa. I know the audio is out. I listened to it while on a road trip last summer. I don't know about the paperback.

message 6: by Melissa (new)

Melissa I bought the hardcover a couple weeks ago. Didn't even check to see when it was out in softcover because I knew I couldn't wait for it lol
Did you like it?

message 7: by Melanie (new)

Melanie I wouldn't read The Duff if my life depended on it. It's such an offensive term, popularizing it is ridiculous.

message 8: by Kristie (new)

Kristie I didn't care for it, Melissa, but I know a lot of people that thought it was great.

message 9: by Wanda (new)

Wanda Paryla Poison Study sounds like an interesting read!

I quite liked Stardust it wasn't Neil Gaiman's best work but I still enjoyed it.

Holly The Great Zoo of China sounds really interesting

message 12: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Hendrix I would ready anything with the title Tantalize and phrases "hybrid-Wolf love", and "vampire themed restaurant", I'm in. The two I would't read are Poison Study and The Duff.

message 13: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Do people just want to read The Duff due to the movie release? I can't see another reason why people would be so intrigued by it. I'm looking forward to reading The Great Zoo of China and The Girl With All The Gifts.

message 14: by TinaMarie (new)

TinaMarie I also will not be reading Duff. I'm definitely going to read "the girl with all the gifts" - seems interesting.

Mary-ellen Melanie wrote: "I wouldn't read The Duff if my life depended on it. It's such an offensive term, popularizing it is ridiculous."

Don't let the title put you off. It's a great YA read and that expression is dealt with appropriately in the book.
