Perhaps we should just read all of them - then we wouldn't have to worry about nominations or polls for the next five months! I may just have to throw some dice in order to make up my mind!

We could read them all! We could use this poll to determine the order... they all look excellent.

I'm hoping we read all of these, because they all seem fantastic! Hoping that it would be so, I went ahead and put all of them on hold at my library - some are so popular though that it will be months before I'll get my hands on them. This is how they rank in terms of length of hold list, which means which ones I can get earliest (and so this is my wished for reading order - if we need a tie-breaker).
Ghana Must Go
We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves
Brown Girl Dreaming
How to be both
Station Eleven

That's a great point, there have been some great books suggested in the past that we should pull up again!

Ev Bishop I voted, but really I'm stoked about each of them equally. :) And I'm hoping to be more active here in the new year--and get WAAAAY better about actually logging the books I read on Goodreads (both in this group, and in Goodreads in general). The only problem? The Internet takes away from reading time! :) :) Enjoy the sweet dregs of 2014, everyone--and happy, prolific reading in 2015!

Shall we read all 5? How about this order?
How to be both - Jan
Brown Girl Dreaming - Feb
Ghana must go - Mar
Station Eleven - Apr
We are all completely beside ourselves - May

I'm into that schedule.

Erin Great idea! I like all of these suggestions. My local library has not released How to be both, So I'll probably read it in May since I have already read We are all completely beside ourselves.

Do you think they might have it by February? We could switch Brown Girl and How to be, since they tied?

message 10: by Erin (new)

Erin Definitely don't change on my account. They may have it
it in soon, they show it's on order.

Yeah, I find it so frustrating when a book is "on order," it might be in in a day, or a month! Still, the two books were tied, and if that makes life easier for you, why shouldn't we change it?

Erin Why, if you guys don't mind, why not. Thanks!
