I've been thinking of creating a faceless Booktok/Bookstagram account to share my reads and reviews.

Thing is I work a really demanding job so reading is kind of my escape. I'm worried that by doing this I'll turn my hobby/escape into work and resent it. But on the plus side, create a really amazing community and further connect with like-minded people. And if I ever want to write something, having a community would be a positive!

So what do y'all think? Should I give it a go or ignore my compulsion for hyperactivity? 😅

Heyyyyy everyone! (This is my first poll so I might do something wrong lol) I have a family friend who is really advanced in his reading(He's 9 and a Fourth grader) and I was trying to find some books that I read in his grade bc I was at the same level at the time, but it's been a bit difficult. He likes mysteries and action, slightly fantasy but still quite modern? He's read Chronicles of Narnia(1st grade), Percy Jackson, Hobbit and Lotr(2nd grade), andHarry Potter(3rd grade). He's also read Sherlock Holmes and loved it. Does anybody have any suggestions for what he should read next? I've given a few suggestions but it might not be enough. Thanks!

HELPP SHOULD I TANDEM READ EMPIRE OF STORMS AND TOWER OF DAWN OR NOT???😭

so first and foremost, i'm an unapologetic chaol stan💅 i'm telling you this bcz some are saying you'd not want to read tower of dawn because it focuses on chaol like honey wdym i won't like reading about the most human, the most flawed character of the series? SAY LESS.
secondly this might be the only opportunity i'd get of tandem reading a book and i wanna experience it?
but some readers are saying the lore of both books are VERY different and tandem reading ruins the experience. plus 1500+ pages, around 20+ different povs will be a hassle (i don't think i'll mind this actually. i'm good at reading long book)
some are saying EOS ends in a huge cliffhanger and going back in timeline to read TOD will be a tedious task especially bcz TOD's start is really slow.
others are saying tandem reading spoils EOS a little.

IDKKK THIS IS PROBABLY THE ONLY OPPORTUNITY I'LL GET OF TANDEM READING A BOOK SO WHAT DO YOU SAY FUCK IT WE BALL?
