if she probably wasn’t in the house crying her eyes out. Is that what she’s doing? Wailing and sobbing and asking God why he would let such a horrible thing happen to her?

a family with a parent missing is always lopsided, uneven, the imbalance felt by those left behind.

If there can be sentences given out for murder or armed robbery, then there should be a term of punishment assigned to relationship betrayals because those can be just as devastating as any act of physical violence that results in bloodshed.
