I pressed my mouth right up against her ear, unable to stop myself from touching her in this small way.
“Good girl,” I whispered, making her shudder. “My good little slut.”
When she opened her blue-grey eyes, she stared right up at me with an almost lust-drunk smile on her lips. “Did you like that?” I asked, my voice gravelly. “Yes,” she whispered. I reached up and stroked a finger down her cheek. “I wanted it to be good for you.”
I wanted to explain, but I found the words didn’t come. It was hard for me to express the feelings I had toward her.
She let out a breath when I stroked her cheek again before straightening.
Why did I run from you? Why did I do this to myself? Why did I do it to you? You deserve better from me, Theia.
“Theia… fuck…” I groaned. “My good girl. My good little slut.” I didn’t know why calling her that was arousing to me.
The only one I could make right was her.
If that’s what Theia wanted to do, she had my full support.
Gil’s hand went to my face, thumb skating over my jaw while his other curled around my back.
“Come with me,” he all but growled.
Gil Villetti, a man I was so fucking gone over, was going to touch me.
“Non posso fermarmi. Non posso.”
“Sei mia, Theia, mia e mia solo.”
“You’ve been so patient with me. This is your reward for being a good girl,” he murmured.
everything was different with Gil. Safety. He’s safety. You can be you. Let go and just be you.
“Gil, I need you. Please. They found me. They’ve found me. They’re here. Please come back. Please.”
I’d gone to hers with the intention of telling her the truth about my feelings. Only when I’d seen her did those good intentions fly right out of the window.
She let out a little sob, shut the door, unlatched it, and pulled it open. I was caught off guard when she launched herself at me, wrapping her arms around my neck and burying her face in it.
Reaching over, I put my hand on her knee. She looked at me, but I kept my eyes on the road. “I’m going to keep you safe, okay?”
If I didn’t have her, I think I might have come apart at the seams. She was the only good thing in my life. The person I looked forward to seeing and couldn’t get out of my head. You’re mine, Theia. I won’t let you go. I’ll protect you from them.
She opened the car door. I got out too, thankful she hadn’t thought to insist on staying in the car. I needed her where I could see her. The fear of losing her was driving me to fucking distraction.
“Uh, Gil, who is this?” “Take care of her and give me your gun.” “What?” he hissed, keeping his voice low. “Do not try my patience, Edric. She is mine, and I expect you to take care of her while I deal with them.”
I flinched at the noise and the scene in front of me. Two men were dead. Killed by the man I’d become obsessed with. I’d always known Gil was dangerous but seeing him be the mafia boss was an entirely new experience. I had no idea what to think or feel about it.
It reminded me of when he’d stabbed that guy in the hand the day we’d met.
By all accounts, I should be fucking terrified of him, but I wasn’t. Gil wouldn’t physically harm me. He’d hesitated to even be close to me at first.
There was a sharp note to it that made my back straighten on automatic. It reminded me of the club where he’d told me in no uncertain terms what he wanted me to do, and I’d obeyed without question.
“Apparently, I’m not allowed to flirt with you,” Edric muttered a moment later. His eyes were fixed on Gil’s back, and he was scowling. “You were flirting?” “No, but I’ve never seen him so irate over me talking to a woman before. Normally, he doesn’t care who I engage with. You’re clearly special to him.”
There was only one way I could take that. The fact Gil was acting possessively over me was quite the fucking revelation.
I wasn’t afraid of Gil, but I was worried about what was going through his head.
You told me you weren’t interested—” “I like you.” My mouth snapped shut.
“Is this your room?” “No, it’s my spare bedroom.” What the fuck? This man had told me he wanted me in his bed, and yet he was putting me in his spare room? Was he fucking crazy? “Why are you making me sleep in there, then?” He blinked, then frowned. “I thought you would want some space.” I sucked in a breath, my hands clenching at my sides. “Space? I don’t want space, Gil.” “I didn’t want to presume anything.”
He stared down at my finger. There was a confused, almost puppy-dog-like look in his eyes as if he was baffled as to why I was practically shouting at him over what he definitely thought was him being considerate of my feelings.
All I could think about when she told me she wanted me was needing to kiss the angry look off her face. I didn’t think she would get so mad at me for putting her in the spare room, but apparently, it was the absolute wrong thing to do.
“Gil,” she moaned against my lips. The sound was so needy and sent all my blood rushing south. Then my thoughts were consumed by a need to be inside her. I couldn’t wait any longer. It had to be now. It had to be right fucking now.
Her body ground up into mine, making me let out a pained groan. My self-restraint was shot to pieces. I didn’t know what the hell came over me, but Theia was my oxygen. The need pulsing beneath my skin. The person I couldn’t help but want so reverently, it threatened to undo all of my hard-earned control. Here I was, experiencing the real and oh-so-intoxicating desire for another person I’d never been allowed to indulge in before.
Deep down, I’d craved it with every inch of my fucking being.
I didn’t think Theia realised just how deep my need to be with her ran.
“My needy little slut.” She shuddered, then whined as I tipped the head down to rest at her entrance.
This was as big of an occasion for me as it was for her. I’d never fucked anyone I’d been sexually attracted to. And I’d never been so turned on in my life.
Our connection fed me. I might revel in the physical intimacy of all of this, but it was the emotional one that caught me first.
“More,” she whined. “Please, just fuck me. I don’t care about coming. All I need is this.” I leaned over her and wrapped my hand around her throat, not stopping in pace. “Do you want me to use you, Theia? Use you for my pleasure like a little slut?”
“I want to tie you to my headboard,” I whispered. She moaned. I could feel the vibrations of it against my hand. “And make you into my obedient little slut.”
A meeting of two broken people who wanted to find solace in each other without judgement.
“Is that what you want? To be my good little slut and do exactly as you’re told? That’s what you’re going to be if you stay with me. Mine.”
I certainly hadn’t been anticipating the mouth on him either. The things he’d said only made me burn ten times hotter. It was everything I’d wanted, and so much fucking more. “Yes,” I whimpered, “I want to be good for you.”
The only thing I needed was for him to keep hitting the spot inside me with his cock that sent pleasure skating up my spine. To keep squeezing my throat and calling me his slut in my ear with his deep, seductive voice.
“Do you want to be mine, slut?”
“Good girl,” he whispered, and I swear my arms buckled just from those two little words. “Sei mia adesso.”
“I needed to hear you say it.” My heart hurt. He needed reassurance. I let go of my legs and turned to him, wrapping myself around his body. He curled his arms around me, holding me tight against his chest. I didn’t know how much I needed to be held by him until right at that moment.
