I LOVE him! And the capitalized LOVE is on purpose as I utterly LOVE what he did. There’s certain ways in the beginning of a book to endear a reader to the main character/s and this does it for me with bells on.

Wow, I think this is the first time a character’s changed into new PPE, most authors miss this out, even the ones that have them in it to start with, and it’s exactly what should be done.

Most real detectives would want to see each and every one/thing, either she doesn’t care & isn’t the best of cops, or picture a shrug emoji here ..

I think this goes for most places, I felt the same at work, full and lots of people and nothing seemed to be getting done, hone it down to 2 to 4 and it’s being steamrollered through.

I really love the slightly dark & slightly sarcastic air to this book, I’m only on his first book, and only in the beginning of that, but I’m wanting to see how many more there are as I want to read them all!

People don’t understand the power they have when they do something like that & how if it ever comes undone the utter grief & desolation it causes and the walls that it builds are higher and stronger than any you’d find in the moorland.

Or CJD as it’s known amongst those who may encounter it etc and it’s near impossible to actually impossible to kill the prions which is why it’s taken so darn seriously, if you get it, your most likely going to die a slow death with these things eating away at your brain leaving it look like a kitchen dish sponge. People think Alzheimer’s and the like are cruel, CJD makes Alzheimer’s look like child’s play.
