And I’ve come face-to-face with the Cobalts, who are just as messy, just as dysfunctional, just as chaotic as my family still is. And it made me love the Cobalt Empire even more.
We’re all a lot of where we come from, just as much as we are the people who raised us and who we’ve met along the way.
I like talking with my family, but nothing beats seeing their faces. It makes it feel like we aren’t split apart on either coast. We try to FaceTime as much as possible. Even when we all should be asleep.
I’ve been filming Maximoff Hale long enough on We Are Calloway to know he isn’t judgmental. He’s empathetic to a fault. But he does get in his head a lot.

“It reminds me of you.”
More and more every single day, I love the foundation of our relationship. Built on encouragement and love and support. Knowing that he’ll be my biggest fan and I’ll be his is a beautiful fucking thing.
In a way, having him helps me take greater risks. Knowing that he’ll be there at the end of it all. That’s the best feeling.
Jane Cobalt and Daisy Calloway.
“I was never rewriting my life when I met you. There was no rewrite, Oscar, because this is how it was always supposed to be written. I am supposed to be with you. You are supposed to be with me. Nothing else makes sense.”
