Undertow

for the girl with her head down, and the inner strength I know she carries.

I believe there’s no point in doing something if you aren’t going to do it with all of your heart.

But if I’m okay with it, and they’re okay with it, how is it anyone else’s right to judge me?

The ocean is a beast. A beast that doesn’t care if it chews you up or swallows you whole. A beast you cannot beat—you can only dance with it until the time comes when it kills you.

She is everything I don’t deserve and everything I could ever hope to attain.
