Great companies have something in common: they don’t try to matter by winning. They win by mattering.
Success is always something we’re aiming to achieve at some point in the future, not something we feel we can experience in the moment. Success is never now. And we often aspire to attaining it without understanding what it means for us personally.
The irony is, no business ever died from a shortage of attention. Companies and ideas fail because of a lack of resonance with the people they seek to serve.
by setting out to find and tell the right story, we lose sight of the real story—the truth about who we are.
