Nothing like being accused of attempted murder to complete a girl’s Friday evening.
“Apologize to her? I’d rather exfoliate my skin with barbed wire and then dive into a pool of chlorine.”
“Anyway, there’s no need for me to be envious of her claim on you—I always give my used stuff to the needy and disadvantaged.”
Watching as the blonde stomped outside, Ally called out, “Before you go, I was just wondering . . . do you like how I taste?”
For once, though, they were in total agreement when it came to a woman: Alyssa Marshall was fucking captivating.
“Sorry, I don’t take orders unless I’m naked.”
“You need to seriously rethink defying me.” “And guys need to stop shoving their hands down their pants to play with their balls in public.” Ally shook her head. “Some things will never change.”
“I’m a straight shooter, so I’ll tell you right now that I’m not convinced you didn’t try to kill your Beta female.” Ally shrugged. “That’s all right. I’m not convinced I care.”
“No wonder Taryn likes you.” Wearing a superior look, Greta studied Ally from head to toe. “You’re just like her—common, disrespectful, slutty.” “They’re some of my best qualities.”
So, either he has the IQ of a Cheerio or some kind of death wish. We’re not yet sure.”
“Hey, Ally, do you know the difference between a hamburger and a blow job?” At her frown, he asked, “No? Wanna have lunch sometime?”
“Death by blue balls.” Bracken shook his head. “I never thought I’d go out this way.”
“You’ll make a good Beta female, you know.” She smiled winningly. “Of course I will. I’m awesome.”
“Hey, don’t you ever fake orgasms with me.” She huffed. “I don’t get why guys get so pissed when girls do that. Hell, your gender can fake an actual relationship.”
“You’re always going to challenge me, aren’t you?” “I’m so thrilled we got that cleared up.”
“Easy there, Old Mother Hubbard. You’re just mad because the Wrinkle Fairy did a tap dance on your face again.”
