I am loved, and my purpose is to love.
But love—my ability to give and to receive it—is life’s only meaning. Today may I remember that.
God and God alone is the source of my good. Love and love alone is the source of my life’s meaning. Forgiveness and forgiveness alone is the key to my deliverance from the pain of a broken heart.

To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life.

Many do yoga or work out in the morning. Many eat breakfast, read the newspaper, and shower in the morning. But those who empower themselves most in life are those who meditate in the morning. Through meditation, we cultivate our inner strength and release our inner power. We align our spirits with God and place our minds under the direction of divine guidance. We open our hearts to the holy, and greet the day lovingly before sauntering out to meet it. We prepare ourselves as miracle-workers so we can then go out and work miracles.

May every thought I think and every feeling I feel be an extension of God’s love. May fear and illusion fall to the wayside as I embrace the knowledge of who I really am. I am who He created me to be, and nothing else is real.

The real me cannot be rejected. If someone doesn’t see my beauty, it’s not because it isn’t there. If someone doesn’t appreciate my value, it’s not because I’m less valuable. My value—like everyone’s—is inestimable because my value is established by God. No one’s opinion can increase or diminish the truth of who I am. May I accept others as God accepts me. May no one feel rejected by me, that I might feel rejected by no one.

Today I see the beauty and power and importance in everyone, that I might see it within myself. It is humble, not arrogant, to accept the power of God within me. Nothing in the world can match in importance the gifts that God has given me.

May I extend the compassion I wish to feel from others, to everyone I meet. May my eyes thus be opened to the truth beyond the veil.

Our sense of who we are determines our behavior. If we think we’re small, limited, inadequate creatures, then we tend to behave that way, and the energy we radiate reflects those thoughts. If we think we’re spiritual beings with an infinite abundance of love and power to bring to the world, then we tend to behave that way. Who we think we are determines what we do; what we do then determines what we experience; and what we experience then determines our suffering or joy. It’s hard to overestimate the importance of remembering who we are.

Today I commit myself to a path of awakening, that I might be of service to the new.
May all that I do and all I create be of use to God. May my life be in some small way a counterforce to the world’s despair. May the products of my mind and the work of my hands bring forth miraculous results for everyone.

Today is the day I have prayed for, a day of peace and blessing for everyone. God creates only beautiful days.

I do not walk alone through life, for God is within me and around me. I am blessed and protected in all I do. Every moment carries a gift for me. May I receive it and pass it on.

disappears. In the space of love, fear disappears. In the space of people who have remembered who we are, why we are here, and who lives within us, it’s only a matter of time before the cruelties of the world begin at last to recede from our midst.

God’s greatest gift to me is a calm in my heart.
God’s gifts are never meant for any of us alone, for we are blessed and healed together. I receive God’s gifts today on behalf of everyone. May my life be a channel through which they emerge into the world.
