The true you, your holy self, is beyond any limits of the mortal world. So are the talents and brilliance within you. When you dwell in that knowledge, simply recognizing and appreciating the divine spirit residing in all of us, you receive the charisma of a self-confident person.

In disagreeing with someone, may I do so with respect. In holding someone accountable, may I do so with honor. In setting a boundary, may I do so with love.

As long as we’re stuck internally, our lives will be stuck externally; the only way to go wide in life is if we are willing to go deep.

Through my atonement, humility, and sincere desire to get it right where I have gotten it wrong before, I will attract the same opportunities again in another form. God holds His miracles in trust for me until I am ready to receive them. He will send opportunities around again, with even bigger plans for how they can bless me and others now.

Putting my focus on who God would have me be, is the only sure way I will ever come close to discerning what He would have me do, and being able to do it. Being precedes doing, in me and in the world.

Dear God, I lay this problem on Your altar. Please interpret this situation for me. May I see only the love in others and in me. Show me what I need to see, Guide me to what I need to do. Help me to forgive. Raise me above the fear in my mind. Thank you, God. Amen.

Dear God, May Your spirit overshadow my mind And give me eyes to see. May I perceive the love I know exists And overlook the rest. May I rise above the darkness of the world And my mind be bathed in light. May I be calm and comforted By truth. Amen.

Dear God, If left to my own devices, My perceptions will be skewed. I surrender to You everything I think and feel. Please take my past and plan my future. Send Your spirit to redeem my mind, That I might be set free. May I be Your vessel And serve the world. May I become who You would have me be, That I might do what You would have me do. Amen.

Even if your mother or father didn’t tell you that you were wonderful when you were a child, your divine Father/Mother tells you that now. Spiritual understanding is a corrective to any false programming you might have received as a child. Rather than endlessly analyzing a tape from childhood, you can erase it by recording a new one. Spiritual growth involves giving up the stories of your past so the universe can write a new one. You are not denying your childhood; you are simply transcending any of its negative aspects. God is your real Mother and God is your real Father. You are loved and adored and cared for and blessed. Accept that if even for a moment, and the torments of mortal childhood begin to pass away.
