He doesn’t waste time and energy in wishful thinking, getting outraged, or dwelling morosely on what he’s lost. He knows that won’t help. Nor does he admit defeat or throw the whole issue into the “too-hard basket.” Instead he acknowledges that right now this is the way it is, and at the same time he does everything in his power to improve the situation.

“There is only one time that is important: NOW! It is the most important time because it is the only time when we have any power.” To create a meaningful life, we need to take action. And the power to act exists only in this moment. The past has already happened and the future doesn’t exist yet, so we can only ever take action here and now.
The question here is, are you being honest with yourself or are you just buying into another thought?
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” —Mark Twain
