She came from "back East" somewhere, forced to bear a child for her sister, married an alcoholic and moved across the country to escape them, and she danced on her husband's grave when he died. Where did she come from? What was her family name? How did she escape them ... and how did her husband really die?(less)

Generally, I prefer when the man and woman (or other combination) are equally strong and complement one another, not the stories where one person is pining for another or one is more dominant than another. I don't think that's realistic. Great loves share everything equally. I cannot tell you who's my fave in the Eva series, because they haven't gotten together yet :)(less)

Dark Days II

New Release Dark Fantasy

Ok, I did it again and went and published another book with little warning, no fanfare, no Bookbubs or promos… As a marketer I suck at marketing my own books. That’s because I just want to write them. If you do happen to stumble across this series, it’s worth it. Now for the blurb, which is the only part of marketing I enjoy because – no surprise – there’s writing involved!

H.G. Wells
“We must remember what ruthless and utter destruction our own species has wrought, not only upon animals, such as vanished bison and the dodo, but upon its own inferior races. The Tasmanians . . . were entirely swept out of existence in a war of extermination waged by European immigrants, in the space if fifty years. Are we such apostles of mercy as to complain if the Martians warred in the same spirit?”
