She came from "back East" somewhere, forced to bear a child for her sister, married an alcoholic and moved across the country to escape them, and she danced on her husband's grave when he died. Where did she come from? What was her family name? How did she escape them ... and how did her husband really die?(less)

Rohan and Sioned in the Melanie Rawn series ...? The list goes on. Generally, I prefer when the man and woman (or other combination) are equally strong and complement one another, not the stories where one person is pining for another or one is more dominant than another. I don't think that's realistic. Great loves share everything equally. I cannot tell you who's my fave in the Eva series, because they haven't gotten together yet :)(less)

Happy New Year! I have been BAD and not finished Eva Thorne Book 4. So sorry. That’s because it’s summer here in Australia, and I’ve been going to the beach, having BBQs in the backyard…and I bought a hammock. Enough said.

But it won’t be much longer. Hang in there!

Sadly, Pronoun Publishing, which had been distributing my books, has closed down. I’m now going through a different distributor, so...

Useful, logical and an enjoyable read!

I’ve learned a few of the lessons in here the hard way, so I know this is valuable information. Read it and avoid the same mistakes. I’ve independently started tackling these things, but it’s tremendous validatio

"I found some of the Unmentionables pretty creepy, though I thought the Trickster quite amusing and witty, but I also get the idea that he could be dangerous. Eva Thorne seems to be a little bit more reflective as well as observant in this novel. I..." Read more of this review »

Short but helpful

I feel like fairly balanced person (I have a hugely busy life but I’m good at ‘tilting’ -explained well in this book). Even though I’ve got a lot of these rhythms in place, in this book I found several simpler ways to do it better an

H.G. Wells
“We must remember what ruthless and utter destruction our own species has wrought, not only upon animals, such as vanished bison and the dodo, but upon its own inferior races. The Tasmanians . . . were entirely swept out of existence in a war of extermination waged by European immigrants, in the space if fifty years. Are we such apostles of mercy as to complain if the Martians warred in the same spirit?”
