Terry Heller How can A Game of Thrones be considered a one-day read?

Mainon It's just that it's a survey sponsored by "One Day" the book-cum-motion-picture, not a comment on how long it should take you to read the book. I can see how that would be misleading, though.

For the record, I would not call Game of Thrones a one-day read if that were a criterion. Although the first season of the TV show is becoming a one-weekend marathon for me. :-)

Terry Heller I keep hearing good things about Game of Thrones. A friend of mine has been in love with that series ever since it debuted, and I finally picked up a copy for myself a couple of months ago. I really want to watch the series, but feel lame watching a movie or TV show based on a book that I actually have in my possession, but haven't read. I better get reading so that I'll have time to watch the series before the next season comes out. Maybe that'll be my best big project after 2666.
