Nah, I'm afraid I am the crazy one here. Everybody but me loves all these guys.
I actually disliked them so much, I even DNFed 8 of these books because of the heroes. :D

Wow, I did not know that. I've read book one through eight and also number elven. The others, hadn't, sorry they were a bust for you!

Gio, I actually do like the brooding, silent and/or tortured hero from time to time.. I guess I have a soft spot for grumps as much as charmers. ;-)
I just hate it when they treat the heroine like crap or like some incapable dunce who is in desperate need of their oh-so-male guidance (though, to be fair, the heroines getting coupled with those heroes most often ARE incapable dunces).
