Deceptions (Cainsville, #3)
by
"My absolute favourite Kelley book, if I were ever to choose one! The middle book of the Cainsville series and so much has been not only discovered, but even scarier scenes I may have anticipated, but sooner than I could have ever expected (or even to fruition at all!)."

Empire of Night (Age of Legends, #2)
by
"Perhaps my favourite YA book of Kelley's, mainly because this contained a much faster plot than the previous and first book in the Age of Legends trilogy. Most importantly, it was the escape from reality that I needed, and one expects to experience when reading fantasy."

Men of the Otherworld (Otherworld Stories, #1)

Absolute proof in Kelley's passion for writing, a talent she excels in any story length, including this anthology of short fiction. The Otherworld series is what brought me into the world of Kelley, and also to her becoming one of my absolute favourite authors. Although the Otherworld novels are with female leads, this collection of short stories and novellas was such a refreshing read in smaller amounts that was not only satisfying but very addicting and perfect! More importantly, it told the backstories of the Pack before the first novel in the series, Bitten." See Review |

The Masked Truth
by
"The most scariest book I have ever read. For real, the first day I started this book, and the night before, I had a nightmare while I slept, and I'm very much pointing out The Masked Truth as the cause since the nightmares were surrounded around the plot. There may not be 'monsters' (that we think are not real and under the bed) but shines on other sides of people, as well as on mental illness that should also arise."

City of the Lost (Casey Duncan, #1)
by
"Firstly, I read this book as an e-serial. Divided into 6 parts, for 6 weeks, reading each part in usually one sitting was a lot of fun, at the same time like waiting for the next episode of an addicting TV show. Also, since Kelley is Canadian, and this is also a straight-up crime thriller with no fantasy elements, (as well as set in Canada!), it's set up for another start to a series I am very much eager to read more about!"
