Marc Jones Ive been getting together a massive stack of books to read to my daughter. Hungry Caterpillar is top of the pile.
Matilda is still my all time fav book.

Sophie Narey (Bookreview- aholic) the hungry caterpillar is one of my favourite books that I read as a child, and when I have my family it will definately be read to them. Matilda is an amazing book as it opens up your imagination as a child I also love BFG (not just because the little girl has the best first name!). There are some childhood books that stay with you forever I still have my copies of them that are now 19years old but i will never get rid of them

Marc Jones I remember my wife telling me this was her fav book growing up.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

All she wanted for christmas was to be able to read a copy of it to our daughter as her mother had done for her. Sadly her copy was destroyed by mold back when she was in student housing.
It took a lot of google-fu but i imagined to finally get hold of a copy for her at Christmas time.
I had to read it to the both of them cause Becky wouldnt stop crying....its funny how much hold an old book can have on us after so many years.

Sophie Narey (Bookreview- aholic) Books have an amazing power they can provoke so many different emotions in people and they can hold so many memories in them. I can remember what song I was listening to while reading certain books, things will that make books special. I think it is a shame when people say they hate reading, I think they just havent found the right book for them.
