Peace Like a River
by
"Peace Like A River was a great read in the end. It was difficult to get into but once you got into the story and dug deep into the allusions, its was awesome. Definitely a must-read since it made my Top Ten list with the annotation packet.

The Count of Monte Cristo
by
"Honestly, at first I thought that this book was going to be about vampires and dumb stuff. There were soooo many characters in this book, and I didn't even read the original version. A great plot and lots of symbolism made this a great read!!!"

Death Sentence (Escape from Furnace, #3)
by
"I really enjoyed the Lockdown series until I grew out of the my "apocalyptic obsession". I really enjoyed all of the action and creepy things in this book. I would like to add how awesome this author is since he kept Solitary very interesting while the main character was in solitary confinement..."

Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle #1)
by
"This book was cash money!!! I began this in 5th grade and still haven't finished the series (I'm ashamed). Elves, magic, dragons, and al the mideval themed fun can be found in this book. Eragon becomes very close to his Dragon as if they are almost 1. This is just the start of the whole adventure!!!"

Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)
by
"Honestly who hasn't read this series? I enjoyed the Hunger Games series except for the last book which had a horrible ending and was just plain stupid. Catching Fire was when Katniss was sent back into the Hunger games for a second time!!! Its Katniss showing the world that they can stop President Snow."

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter, #7)
by
"Harry Potter was a long famous series I read in third grade. Sadly I remember very little from it due to the movies except that it was funny, exciting, and left you hanging and wanting to read more. If you haven't read this series yet, stop what you are doing and go grab Harry Potter."

Ender’s Game (Ender's Saga, #1)
by
"This book was phenomenal, and I think I'm going to go back and read it again. Ender had to be taken to train and battle in this sci-fi. I can't remember what I liked about it so much, but go and read this novel. Then once you finish get ready for Ender's Shadow"

Ender's Shadow (The Shadow Series, #1)
by
"Take Ender's Game and multiply that book by 2. The exact same situation except told from Bean's perspective. Some books from the other character's perspective completely fail at interesting the reader. not this book. #1 All Time!!! Go read Ender's Shadow!!!"
