"Of all the works I read for my American Drama class, this was my favorite. The character of Blanche seemed to echo some eerie similarities in myself, and I fell in love with the idea of the "aging southern belle". "

"For a teenager in a new place, this book hits several somewhat raw nerves. While the storytelling itself was somewhat choppy, the heart of the book was honest and intimate. "

"This book was a re-read for me, and had me revisiting a novel from my past circa sophmore year of high school. I dont think I could ever say enough about how much I adore this play. Arthur Miller creates very real characters that openly picture the flaws and desires of the human soul. There is also the present sense of hysteria, fear, and rage that really take the reader. This will likely always be my favorite drama of all time. "

"From my Text and Context class, this book probably held the most interest to me. I love the way Kingston talks about women as heroes, and how flawlessly she blends culture, folklore, and reality. "

"As a writing student, this peice struck a certain chord; almost like a calling to do even better in my schoolwork and writing. There's a mix of reality and hope in Woolf's writing that I hope remains as a message to women and writers. It really makes you wonder what role in literature women truly play. "

"I read this book to couple with a paper for my Philosophy class. The reflections on good, evil, and the human soul are absolutely breathtaking. The characters, from Sybil to Dorian, have a heartbreaking realism that is shadowed by Wilde's perfect romanticism. "

"This book just sounds like childhood to me. Regaurdless of anyone's accusations against Carroll and Alice, I believe Alice in Wonderland is a classic for a reason. "
