"I absolutely loved this series! C.S. Lewis is such a gifted writer. I have read most of his works and have read the complete "Chronicles..." at least twice. While the series can be enjoyed by the youngest of children, it can also lead one to a better understanding of Christianity as the deeper meanings are understood by the reader. One who is familiar with the message of the Bible, particularly how many of the prophecies contained in the Hebrew scriptures (Old Testament) are fulfilled in Christ, one comes to perceive how the analogous messages behind and beynond the plot itself that thread their way through all the successive volumes of the series.
