Leah DeCesare is a TEDx speaker and the award-winning author of Forks, Knives, and Spoons. She earned her Master of Fine Arts at The Newport MFA. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times and others, and she has taught writing at several universities and Boston’s Grub Street. She co-founded the nonprofit, Doulas of Rhode Island, and led fundraising efforts to build a medical center in Uganda. leahdecesare.com
