I'd been working on The Isle of Kern for quite some time, but finally had a lull in work enough last fall/winter to get it done. Since I'd written it entirely for myself, I didn't even attempt to get a conventional publisher or agent for it. I went the Amazon/Create Space/Kindle self-publishing route.
