When not writing or editing, I'm eliminating racism and empowering women, while striving for freedom, justice and dignity for all.

In my downtime, you can find me celebrating life, drumming around a fire, kayaking, camping, writing, reading, visiting with my two grown and amazing children - Ant and Allie, or working out with my husband or sitting on the back of his motorcycle engaging in two-wheel therapy.

While I grew up and lived a good part of my life in Selden and Sound Beach, (Brookhaven town) Long Island, NY, I had periodic adventures living in Eastern Tennessee (Deer Lodge, Petros, Coalfield, and Oliver Springs).
