Hafdis Hafsteins is a storyteller and illustrator, weaving magic into every children’s book and YA fantasy novel she creates.

Once a veterinary hospital worker, Hafdis yearned for more enchantment in her life. This longing led her to pursue an English BA degree, where she honed her craft and let her imagination soar.

Now living in the town of Kópavogur, Iceland, Hafdis spends her days knitting cozy sweaters and her nights under a blanket, sipping hot cocoa. When she’s not lost in the pages of her own fantastical worlds, she’s dreaming up new adventures for her readers to embark on.
