The Five Kingdoms of Astrania have been at war with each other for many centuries. An all out war over one-hundred years ago caused the kingdoms to fall into despair with no one truly becoming the victor. As a lasting hope a soaring blue Phoenix known as the Moon Flare flew across the sky. It was a sign for each kingdom that led them to the highest meeting of the Kings and Queens. In this meeting it was decided that every thirty years a new champion would be selected to represent their kingdom in a public display of combat and skill.

This has led the kingdoms to prosper in their own ways and rebuild what had been ruined. Each kingdom lives within their own lands, their own laws and prepares their champions. The champion that wins the tournament is given rule for the next thirty years as sovereign leader of Astrania.

In all this constructed order there are those that are planning assassinations, conspiring and threatening the mediocre balance that has been on each of their Kingdoms. Many believe that this tournament will be the last one before another war that will shake the kingdom and destroy millions.

Before the main kingdoms formed an alliance, there was war and chaos between each of the kingdoms. Each animal was out for themselves and disorder ravaged each of the monarchies.

But on one fateful night, nearly a century ago, the Rabbit Queen and Hare King invited several kingdoms to a feast. The ones that showed up to the dinner were the Bird kingdom, the Canine kingdom, the Snake kingdom, and the Feline kingdom. The Rabbit Queen and Hare King proposed an alliance, something that had never been thought of before. Each of the kingdoms were in shock, but still intrigued. After hearing the two rulers explain the benefits, one by one each of them agreed and signed the contract. First the Bird Kingdom, then the Canine Kingdom, the Snake Kingdom, and lastly, the Feline Kingdom.

For decades afterwards, trade was prosperous and many other smaller kingdoms joined in on the alliance. Mixes began to appear of different animals and harmony sung throughout each of the kingdoms. However, rumors are beginning to spread of a betrayal to the alliance between the kingdoms. The Feline Kingdom has been beginning to act more authoritarian and creating more barriers with trade and immigration and spies have given information to the Rabbit Kingdom that something is amiss. Desperately, Queen Petunia is attempting to prevent the war from happening. But at this point the question is who will win.
