I was struck by the beauty and the power of the writing on this re-read.
Achebe's prose harkens to parables and conventions of Igbo speech, which favors proverbs and metaphors.

I hate not finishing books, and even debated putting this book up here. But I absolutely could not finish it. I was bored to tears reading this book. I liked it. It was pretty jumpy and at times hard to follow. Other than that, I always love learning about different cultures and tribes and such.
