Damn. I was so enjoying this book. Why it had to be ruined? I feel like I’ve just dropped an ice-cream.
Oh that horrible and unsatisfying feeling…
Let’s talk about what went wrong before we get to good stuff.
Problem Number 1- The author was definitely following a check list while writing this one. Summer story? Check. Absent father? Check. Controlling mother? Check. It's the ending i don't really get that much but overall, what a wonderful read! I love the Garrett family especially George and how each member of the family is different from the other yet they all have something in common. Sam was really good, hated Clay Tucker, Nan and Grace Reed but i'm working on Grace. At first I thought I would hate Tim but wow he's awesome.
