Detailed Review: I so loved this book! It was so different from many books I read this year that I think it just made its way to the list of my most-loved books!

This book is good. Not the everybody-in-this-world-must-read-this-book kind of good, but it touches your heart, it shows how great words are. It makes you want to read slowly and just savor every word.

Wow... just wow. This book was wonderful, amazing, funny, sad, hopeful, etc. etc.

This book is set in 1939 Nazi Germany. With that being said it should be obvious that this isn't a feel good/happy book. Narrated by death this is a beautiful and tragic tale that has well written characters.
