I don't know who I prefer more. Although Etienne's britishisms (or is it briticisms?) were borderline cringe-worthy in the first book. I guess you notice how stereotypical they are when you're British yourself.

I just could not finish this book for some reason. Anna and the French Kiss was amazing. I have no clue why i didnt like the second one. Yes, Lola is annoying and the names are just so weird.

Honestly, I did not like it as much as Anna and the French Kiss. The plot was ok. Lola and Cricket aren't perfect but they're for each other. Lola a costume designer and Cricket a science nerd . I did not like the fact of Lola wearing costumes all the time . It sounds clumsy and cumbersome to me. But Cricket loves her like that. They both have their own problems which they can't figure out but they help each other, that's sweet. I also like the glimpses of Anna and St. Clair which author shows u ...more
