This was my first book from Talia Hibbert and I totally understand why everyone raves about her work. Her writing was like curling up with a fuzzy blanket and watching a delightful British rom-com.

I wasn’t sure how I felt about Chloe Brown until halfway through the book. The first part was very slow burn with lots of character building. The scenes where Chloe and Red weren’t on the page together had me questioning a few times if I liked it. But somewhere around 55-60% I fell totally in love wit

Get a Life, Chloe Brown is such a sweet and touching story. It follows Chloe Brown, a young web designer struggling with fibromyalgia. In the wake of a near-death experience, Chloe makes herself a list to “get a life”, including items like moving out of her parent's house, go camping, and have meaningless sex. After moving into an apartment, Chloe meets, and butt heads with, her new super, Red. While Red gets on her last nerve, Chloe eventually enlists him in her get a life plan. But as the two ...more

Chloe Brown. Hell yes. I am in love with this book! It was everything I didn’t know I needed to read.

Talia Hibbert wrote two characters that struck me so deeply. Chloe has chronic pain due to fibromyalgia & is taking on her life post diagnoses. Red is an artist who has become reclusive after leaving an abusive relationship. Chloe talks of how life changes when you are diagnosed with an illness, especially an invisible one. Her former friends faded away. Her life has become reclusive and sheltere

Get A Life, Chloe Brown is an own voices, inclusive novel and it is FANTASTIC! Chloe Brown has a chronic illness but is determined that it not define her life. Red is a sensitive, caring man recovering from a past trauma. Together they have the best banter, a wonderful love story and lots of stream! I flew through this one and am so glad it is just the first of a new series.

Thank you to LibroFM and Harper Audio for a free ALC of this title for review.

Let me start with what I didn't love about this book: I wanted another hundred pages.

Seriously, that's its biggest flaw in my opinion. So. Consider me a new fan of Talia Hibbert's! Get A Life, Chloe Brown features a real person. Not, real in the sense that she exists IRL, but real in that she's so completely realistic. She doesn't frolic around underneath sunny skies and rainbows all day every day.

In part this is becau

First, I want to say thank you to Avon Books for my copy of this one! ⁣

Meet Chloe Brown, a computer nerd, button obsessed, living with a chronic illness homebody. After a near death experience, Chloe decides to make a “get a life” list. This lists consists of things she would never have done prior to the accident, but the problem is... she needs help completing the list. When Red, her apartment handyman comes into the picture, all bets are off. He has tattoos, a motorcycle, and an edge to him t

I feel like I am going to get bashed for not giving this book a top rating that everyone on IG has raves about. There were a lot of aspect of the book that I enjoyed l: both characters had issues (mental and physical), the diversity of a mix race couple and a larger female character and the fun email banter between the characters. ⁣

I think the cute cartoon covers really throws me off. I expected this to be more a romantic comedy but this book actually addresses a lot of heavier subjects. I did

I completely loved this book! Of all the romance books I have devoured this year, this has some of the BEST perfectly imperfect characters. Chloe Brown has fibromyalgia and the way she is portrayed is SO SPOT ON ACCURATE. Several people near and dear to me have fibro. and it felt like they were on the page. Choe’s isolation, people who gave up on her because they didn’t understand her illness, powering through pain...💔 This heroine is one badass chick. I loved her. The relationship centers on Re ...more

Urgent To-Do for a Perfect Evening:
1. Put on comfy clothing
2. Grab your favorite beverage and set it within easy reach
3. Snuggle under a blanket (perhaps with a dog or cat in petting range)
4. Put your phone and all other distractions in another room
5. Settle in with Get a Life, Chloe Brown and try not to move until you're finished

I absolutely loved this book!!! What's it about? Chloe decides that she needs to make some big changes in her life - and starts by moving out on her own. Then she puts

This is the story of a chronically ill coder named Chloe Brown who has a near death experience and comes up with a “Get A Life” list. Enter Red Morgan who has the means to help her cross a few things off. This book will warm your heart and make you blush. It’s sassy, witty, steamy and hilarious. Chloe and Red’s banter is top notch and it’s impossible not to fall for Red a little yourself. Chloe is a great female protagonist because she breaks the stereotypes of a typical romance genre. I’m such a mood reader, I picked this up at least two other times before this. I loved it this time around! The audiobook narration was everything! This hero 😍 swoon. The communication, these two figuring their stuff out. The steaminess and the sweetness is such a perfect combination.

The narrator for this audiobook is annoying, proper little old English lady and I just can't focus on it. This one may or may not get picked up again, because now I'm afraid I can't get the voice out of my head.
