Most of the Dune books are probably beyond a younger mind. I read these way back when and didn't understand any except the first couple and even then, only on a superficial level. I don't remember them either so it's like reading them for the first time all over again!

This book is the pinnacle of science fiction. The first four books of the Dune series are absolute must-reads for any science fiction fan. (I've read them three times so far.) And this book is the climax to the whole series. The last two books are okay, but didn't impress me as much as the first four.
