I loved Divergent and Insurgent by Veronica Roth and was looking forward to the last book of the trilogy.
This book is only just readable because it kept raising questions - questions that shouldn't have been raised if the premise of this book had been well though out - there I've said it - this book is full of holes and made me angry.
It's isn't that Veronica Roth can' write (she proved that she can write great stuff with Divergent and Insurgent) - it just that this book falls seriously short of ...more

This book became, hmmm.... political. There was a lot of talk about government that was talked about but never seen. Am I to believe that the Department of Genetic Warfare had no communication with the so call government that was running everything and they would let all that happened go without appearing? And enough with the uprising. Maybe it is just human nature or maybe it is a loss of creativity, but it seems that the plot of book two and three were very similar but the content was differen

Oh my goodness. Was I really reading the final book in the Divergent series?? The writing was a bit different, I cared a LOT less about what was happening. And to be brutally honest, had I not already invested the time to read the previous 2 previous books I would never have finished this mess. Now I knew people were unhappy with it prior to even starting the series. But I also was of the mind "it's the author's story to tell, not mine, and she wrote it how she felt was best." Well that mind fra

I was glad to read the final book in the trilogy, it provided closure and revelations and character growth; but I didn't love the audio narration for Tris' character. Tobias's narrator, Aaron Stanford was wonderful, but Tris came off as a childish voice that didn't ring true to character for me as read by Emma Galvin. I did understand a bit more about what caused the bleak blighted world to exist, and found hope in small measure for the future. I thought this book dragged more than the other two

Wow. Masterfully done. I was confused by the point of view changing between the Tris point of view and the Tobias point of view Tobias since the first two books had not been written in that manner; I was even slightly annoyed by it. However it all made sense by the end of the book. Truly one of the best series I have ever read. Fantastic.

I didn't like how the book switches back and forth between tris and tobias, the style of writing was too similar, there was no point to change views like that unless it was when the two are off in different places.... the ending, was definitely unexpected :(

It took me a while to get into this book, just because I didn't see where the story was going. The beginning of the series was an exciting story but it got boring at the end. I didn't expect the ending at all, but it was a nice twist to a dragging conclusion
