I give Cinder a 4.5. It was really a very good book, easy to read and a different take on a futuristic Cinderella story. I would have given it a 5 except that I have to admit it was easy to figure out the twists.
I was pleasantly surprised to read Cinder. I had no idea I would like this book as much as I did, as I am not a big Sci-Fi reader. I loved how the author added certain familiar parts to Cinderella and then very much made it it's own story.

3.5 stars. Re-reading this, I liked it better than I originally did and almost bumped it up to 4 stars because 3 just didn't seem to be accurate. Since my biggest problem the first time around was seeing the twist well in advance of it happening...that didn't bother me at all this time since I knew the full story. I felt like it was so enjoyable to listen to this time around, and it really got me in the mode to get back into the series. I like to listen to books sometimes when I do a reread just ...more
