It's very rare that you'll find me, nose in a book, laughing as I read. I don't tend to find books funny - but this one was a definite exception. Loved it. A gentle comedy and murder mystery. I love the ageing sleuths and their ability to cut right to the heart of things. The timing is right, oldies can't be tearing around the place like their much younger counterparts, so things moved more slowly &, perhaps, more smoothly.
Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron & Ibrahim are delightful characters, as are the support crew, & the humour is witty & kind. 4.5★ ...more
