Fabulous book! I listened to it on Audible and the narrator was amazing (I felt like Kate Middleton was reading to me)!
The story of Nora and her unhappiness in life. She is stuck between life and death in The Midnight Library. She gets to see how her life would play out if she made different decisions, small or big. I love the theme of seeing our full potential.
There is a bit of language but I can’t say enough good things about this book!

Without trying to spoil the plot, at first when I began reading The Midnight Library, I wasn’t sure I would finish it. Nora seemed so depressing, and I felt sad about her suicidal thoughts. But the concept of life being like a tree with many branches intrigued me. The more I read, the more I entertained the idea of alternative lives and how our choices affect our outcomes. I started slowly, trying to figure out what was happening in this Midnight Library. There were a couple of lives/library stories that I enjoyed reading; there were others that I did not. Isn't that an underlying point? The final resolution made the entire adventure worth it.

Told a co-worker it was a strong 3 but I really enjoyed the message and the journey. Upgrading this one to a 4. Kind of different. Was waiting for a Dorothy-waking-up-in-kansas moment but was pleasantly surprised it didn't end that way.
