Shelves: classics, mushy-stuff
Tried to read this back in Tenth grade for an extra credit book report, but failed miserably. It was probably my age and the writing style put together which turned me off initially. Bronte's writing to me (at that time) was incredibly dry. I'm hoping if I try it again now, it won't be the negative experience I had at first. Gentle reader, we will see... ;-)....Yup. Still couldn't get into the book. ...more

Masterfully written (and not always easy to understand), this book probably warrants at least two read-throughs to fully appreciate it in its entirety.
