This book was a monumental disappointment on a variety of levels. First off, stop men in their 30s from writing young girl protagonists 2k18 is in full swing. The afterward does indicate that he consulted both his mother and girlfriend, and frankly they should be ashamed - particularly of all of the stumbling first person sex jokes addressed at the reader. This author is amazing! He must be brilliant to be so knowledgeable about so many separate scientific disciplines....
that being said, while I mostly enjoyed this tale, I did not love it. I keep comparing it to The Martian which isn’t fair.
