Oh dear....this had some great elements but I hated the main characters, Erin and Mark. Newly married they are on their honeymoon when they find a bag of money and diamonds floating in the ocean. They make all the wrong moves, idiotic decisions and then betrayal. It was just okay for me

Shelves: thriller

I am giving this 2 stars only because it was highly readable. But the MCs were unlikable and you have to seriously suspend your disbelief to buy into the story. (view spoiler) I have read this author's more recent book, which I liked more, so I am willing to try another by this author. ...more

Fantastic twists and a great story. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the horrendous language. Seriously, why are so many people obsessed with foul language??? The story does not need it at all.

Actually, a 4.5 - really, really GOOD book! I listened to it and these last two hours I couldn't turn if off! Lots of twists and turns and a bad guy turns it around - something you don't find too often! It has it all mystery, adventure, romance and interesting characters! Picked up this book because of the reviews -- was surprised to find it filled with ridiculous improbabilities, etc -- first chapter was the best -- I did manage to finish it so 2 stars for that.

I read this on a flight from California to Ohio and I complained to my husband the entire flight. These characters were way too stupid to live. I couldn’t believe the idiotic things they did. However, the ending was surprising and really good - it more than made up for the rest of the book!

Page turner!

Totally fell in the deep end following along through this thriller. Interesting and kept me guessing the entire time. Enjoyable torture with heart pounding suspense and clues that you keep questioning.
