This book describes what it’s like to become a creative being in two languages and learn to love both. The illustrations are very detailed in telling the story as well. This book is about Yuyi who leaves her home and comes on a journey to the United States with her infant son. It goes through their journey and takes a look at how they make a new life here in the United States. Yuyi and her son find a new, wonderful place, which is the public library. Yuyi goes there with her son and find a new home in the library.
