I wasn't as big a fan of this one. I'm not really looking for supernatural elements in my mysteries, and this one was a little too Dan Brown for me. Of course, pieces of history and old writings are picked and chosen, often ignoring their context or ever presenting a bigger picture or another argument. For example, not once was there a mention of the fact that, historically the inverted cross was actually a Christian symbol, since it's the cross of St Peter. Nurture Waratah
This was an average, everyday, serial killer novel. Enjoyable while it lasted but not overly memorable after the event. I was able to pick that there was a traiter in the club, but not exactly who it was. Worth reading if you like this sort of thing, skip over it if you don't. ...more
