"2nd Chance reconvenes the Women's Murder Club, four friends (a detective, a reporter, an assistant district attorney, and a medical examiner) who used their networking skills, feminine intuition, and professional wiles to solve a baffling series of murders in 1st to Die. Lindsay Boxer and her Women's murder club are back for another go round. This time there is a serial killer who seems to be racially motivated but Lindsay and her crew believe there is a deeper reason for the killings. Lindsays dad also pops back into her life. A decent thriller but there are a few big editorial bloopers the biggest being when Lindsay goes from only having a brother to only having a sister in the space of one paragraph.

The second women's murder club book that I have read. I really liked this one too. Yes you know with these books that the first person that they go after and catch is not going to be the right person, but I like that because I am always thinking about who it is then. I liked that all the girls had their little side stories. I really like that they are always there for each other. I will keep reading these books.

I really like the Women's Murder Club series. I like Lindsay Boxer and I like the dynamic between her and her friends. Last time I read this book, almost 8 years ago now, I had rated it a 3 but I am increasing it to a 4 now as I found the story really compelling. Patterson's books are always easy to read and a good antidote to some of the heavier books I currently have on the go. And I have no problems at all re-reading them.

Book two in the series. I know I read it and read it quickly but I really can't tell you what happened in this one versus the first one. They all kind of blend together after a while.
