Christopher Moore is always funny. This book was written ten years after the first book in this trilogy, so although only a day had passed for the characters, there were a lot of things that felt different for the readers and the author by the time this one came out. There's a very interesting interview with the author at the end of the audiobook that talks about how he dealt with that.

In general, if you like Christopher Moore's brand of wacky humor and goofy vampire characters, you'll enjoy thi

Don't get me wrong, I sort of enjoyed this book - I would have given it 2 1/2 starts if I could - but I didn't have a clue where it was going, I mean what was the point of the book. This was a very odd book but it was a very quick read. It had vampires in it so it can't be all bad! ...more

Not as good as the other Christopher Moore book I read (A Dirty Job), but still worth a read.

I should give this one 5 stars for Abby Normal alone. Love, love, loved her!

This is the sequel to Bloodsucking Fiends and it continues the tale of Jody and Tommy (or C.Thomas Flood, his pen name.) It had been a while since I read Bloodsucking Fiends but Moore does enough recapping that it was easy enough to pick up. Some of the stuff with Blue and the Animals was a little draggy to me (but still peppered with lot of funny moments) which is the only thing stopping me from giving this 5 stars.
