All the Light We Cannot See is simply one of the best books I have ever read. Doerr's prose is hypnotic. He is a maestro with words, pacing, character development, and plot. I have devoured this book 3 times already and will re-read it again every year or two for the rest of my life, for sheer pleasure, captivation, and the joy of reading myself into another world. ...more
