I finally am starting to get it.......I am not an alien after all
I was quite reluctant to begin reading Bloodfever. I really only enjoyed about 50 pages of Darkfever; needless to say it was not a good start to a series. I generally won’t buy the next book in a series until I am certain I want to proceed and truly was not going to read book two. There is no need to torture myself. I read for pleasure, an escape it is my own personal oasis. So that being said I want to love ...more

Terrible when their blood, sweat and tears - years really can be devoured in such a short time. They are just that good. I want more of her. More of quality books like these. Stellar!

This series get's even better in this book. altough i still have the feeling something even bigger is going to happen and this book is still a introduction for that to happen. That said I really am curious about the next books! in this book the characters develop more and more questions arise. I really love the way this series is told, like everything already happens and MacKayla tells the story in retrospect. This way of telling can really make you want to know what happens next and I find it r

I'd give this book way over 5 if I could. It topped the charts in detail, gruesomeness, pushing me to insomnia wanting to know what happens next, the electricity between the characters and maybe seven stars just for the last few chapters where( spoiler alert) Mac gets captured, tortured and slowly loses hope and alternately fights for her life and finds her knight in shining armor. The references to her vanity and superficial musings is getting less significant. So that just adds to the otherwis

I'm loving the series so far it is not rushed at all and I love how Mac and Barrons relationship is all over the map and no matter what he is there for her. In both books there is intense moments where you are sitting at the edge of your seats. Mac has grown so much in this book especially at the end I am so excited to read the next book not only for the new grown up Mac but because of the major cliff hanger ending.
