This book was worth the wait. And man what a long wait that was! I devoured this terrifying book. Susan Ee really ups the ante with the second enstallment. I hate scary movies but there is something about her writing that grabs you by the collar and doesnt let go, its almost like im being stuck in the neck with the tail of a scorpion, hybrid angel..

World After was a good second installment in the Penryn & the End of Days series, but it kind of had the typical feel of a second book.

The story started right where the previous one left us, but for some reason it just wasn't as gripping as Angelfall. The last 25% or so got a lot better, thus the half star, but I was still hoping for more when I started this book.

I'll definitely be reading the final book, hopefully this month, and am hoping that one will be better.
